Who we are
Vouch is developed by Humanity One (“we”, “us”). We’re responsible for the details you send through the Vouch for Business request form. This notice covers that form only. For the Vouch app, see our Privacy Policy.
Contact: hewie@humanityone.world
What we collect
- About your business: its name, website, industry, country and number of locations.
- What you want to understand: the goals you choose and anything you write in the form.
- How to reach you: your name, business email, job title and, if you give it, a phone number.
- A record of your agreement to this notice, with the date and the notice version.
- To protect the form from abuse: a one-way hash of your IP address (we don’t store the address itself) and your browser’s user-agent string.
If you don’t finish the form, your answers stay in your own browser so you can pick up where you left off. They aren’t sent to us until you press Send request.
How we use it
- To review your request and contact you about Vouch for Business.
- To understand your requirements and, if Vouch is a fit, scope an environment with you.
- To keep the form secure, prevent duplicate requests and stop spam.
We don’t sell your details and we don’t add you to marketing lists. Sending a request doesn’t create or activate an account.
Lawful basis
We use your details to take steps you’ve asked for before any contract, and for our legitimate interests in responding to business enquiries and keeping our services secure.
Who can see it
The Vouch team at Humanity One. If we use internal notifications for new requests, they contain only your business name, industry, country and request reference, not your contact details.
Where it’s stored
Requests are stored with the infrastructure providers that run our services, Supabase and Vercel, using encrypted connections and access limited to our team. These providers may process data outside the UK. Where they do, we rely on the safeguards they provide under UK data protection law.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiries for up to 24 months after our last contact with you, then delete them. If we go on to work together, the relevant details become part of that business relationship.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete the details you sent, or object to how we use them, by emailing hewie@humanityone.world. Please include your request reference if you have it.
If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
Changes
If we change this notice, we’ll update the date above. The version you agreed to is recorded with your request.
